A new fad lately has been the t-shirt search engine. This started several years ago in slightly different format with Teeshirtdrama.com They essentially had photos to tons of different t-shirts seperately by category which would link a potential shopper to tee shirt sites all over the world. It was a good idea but even they upgraded their site recently in a more web 2.0 way and its still a great place to browse for t-shirts.  Quite frankly all of the t-shirt search engines below are a much better way to search for a t-shirt than going to a general search engine.  The results you will get on these t-shirt search engines are great.

Here are some of the t-shirt search engines we discovered with a short explanation.  We are still using these day to day so we will try to update this post.

1.  Teenormous – Very cool site.  Initially, they seemed to have the most tees but they has changed I belive.  They do not include Cafe Press stores for some reason.  I personally always seem to find some good finds in Cafe Press Stores but who knows.  This site is nice however, clean design, tons of tee shirts, nicely organized.  Lacking content but otherwise great t-shirt search engine

2.  Search4tshirts.com – Search4tshirts.com has alot of promise.  The site is somewhat new but they already have more tees than any of the t-shirt search engines we looked at.  The downfall is they are not quite as organized.  They are broken down into tags such as merchant, sex, cateogory etc which is great but we found some of the tees should be inserted in multiple categories.  They definitely have the best pictures.  They are large and big and the site moves fast.  They also have an attached t-shirt blog which is cool for some.

3.  Pleasedress.me – Nicely designed site.  A Ton of tees but also not that great when it comes to organization.  They dont have visable categories so sometimes you need to do alot of work to find a tee.  Great social networking options.  Would help if their tees had descriptions on them so that you could read before clicking to the particular t-shirt site.

4.  Go2tshirts.com -  Probably the most interesting of any of these t-shirt search engines.  Their photos are smaller probably due to the amount of content on the site.  The site is more than just a t-shirt search engine.  They have a built in blog, a t-shirt model gallery (our favorite), built in t-shirt news feeds, tee shirt links and some other cool stuff.  They have nice broken down categories as well.  Our favorite was the option to review the t-shirts directly on the site.  They do not have quite the quantity as some of the others do right now but we are told they will be adding over 40,000 tees in the next month.

5.  Shirtseek.com – Tons of tee shirts from every type of site imaginable.  Hate their pictures though.  They decided to take the tee shirt picture and make it into somewhat of a sketch.  Its different but our opinion is to see the actual tee.  They also allow you to review the tee on the site which is cool.  They also allow you to add shirts to the site and if its a new item they will add it and somehow pay you a commission.

If I had to pick one as my favorite, it would be Go2tshirts.com.  I just like all the content they have.  But for a strict t-shirt shopper Teenormour or Search4tshirts.com may be the best.  All in all, these sites all bring an added touch to the t-shirt world and to shopping for tees!
