Continental Basketball Association (1978-2001) - Puerto Rico Coquis - $ 19.99
Led by former Pistons coach Herb Brown, the Coquis (tree frog), played two seasons in the CBA (1983-85), winning the league's Eastern Division title and reaching the division finals in 1984 as an expansion franchise. The team's performance earned Brown Coach of the Year honors. Based in San Juan, the team played its games in Guaynabo, Ponce, and Hato Rey. The franchise moved to Bangor, Maine, following the 1984-85 season. Standouts for Puerto Rico included Mike Holton, Larry Lawrence, Geff Crompton, Mark Smith, Sam Worthen, Carl Henry, and Larry Demic.

Eastern Basketball Association (1947-77) – Long Island Ducks – $ 19.99 The Ducks were members of the EBA during the league’s final season (the EBA changed its name to the CBA in September 1978), finishing .500 (15-15). In its only season, Long Island led the league in team defense, but rated as the second worst offensive team. Starring for the Ducks were Larry Fogle, Mel Utley, Reggie Speights, and Ken Rood, who scored 51 in a game against Lancaster on April 1, 1978. |
